William Arthur Ward once wrote that “the adventure of life is to learn, the nature of life is to change, the purpose of life is to grow and the triumph of life is to prevail.â€
Since 2006, the Philippine Center for Entrepreneurship has been teaching, inspiring and changing the lives of many Filipino women through its empowering seminars, training and summits, so they can learn, change, grow, and eventually prevail.
While preparing for our 3rd Filipino Technopreneurship Summit happening two days from now, the GoNegosyo team is also simultaneously gearing up for our women’s summit. In line with the global celebration of Women’s Month, we are scheduled to host the 6th Filipina Entrepreneurship Summit on March 7 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City. This has been an annual tradition of GoNegosyo since 2009 dedicated to target the very important sector of kababaihan.
This one-day summit will feature Filipina icons from different backgrounds. Sen. Grace Poe is expected to keynote the summit, while the “Queen of All Media†Kris Aquino will deliver a special message.
Meanwhile, Sen. Cynthia Villar, who has always been very supportive of the GoNegosyo advocacy, and renowned educator Dr. Queena Chua-Lee, will be joined by other notable women and women entrepreneurs in the keynote forum, while renowned broadcast journalist Korina Sanchez and radio disk jockey Emily Gaite, aka Nicole Hyala, will recount their individual journeys in the afternoon.
Aside from the keynote speeches and the keynote forum, there will also be two fora to feature more female personalities and seasoned women entrepreneurs, including celebrity entrepreneur Regine Tolentino, Serenitea’s Juliet Herrera, Manang’s Chicken’s Jill Borja, Greenleaf Bags’ Zarah Juan, Big Apple Spa’s Roselin Pagunsan, and many more.
For the sixth year, we will also be recognizing another batch of outstanding and inspiring women entrepreneurs for their exemplary performance in their business and will be named as this year’s GoNegosyo Women STARpreneurs. We are expecting another full house event of about more 7,000 attendees including students, aspiring and practicing entrepreneurs particularly mom-preneurs and enablers.
More details about the event will be out in the coming days. Make sure to visit our website www.gonegosyo.net or follow us on Facebook (Go Negosyo Official).
Let’s get in touch.
We’d love to hear from you.
