Go Negosyo honored the late chef and restaurateur Margarita “Gaita” Forés with a Woman of Legacy award. It was presented during the Women Summit 2025 last March 15 at the Ayala Malls Manila Bay in Parañaque City. Forés, who was recognized for her contribution to promoting entrepreneurship among Filipinas, was also one of the first to volunteer as a mentor to MSMEs when Go Negosyo was founded almost 20 years ago. In the photo are Go Negosyo founder Joey Concepcion, Department of Trade and Industry Secretary Cris Roque (leftmost) and First Lady Liza Araneta Marcos. Receiving the award is the late chef’s son, Amado (rightmost), along with Gaita’s sisters Bledes and Veana.
