BUILDING A CREATIVE ECONOMY. Go Negosyo founder Joey Concepcion and Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Sec. Cris Roque rallied Filipino creatives to persevere and hone their entrepreneurship skills in the country’s first Creative Entrepreneurship Summit, held last May 31, 2025 at the Ayala Malls Manila Bay in Parañaque City. With them are Sec. Dante “Klink” Ang II of the Commission on Filipinos Overseas; Hon. Christopher “Toff” V.P. De Venecia, Chairman of the Special Committee on Creative Industries, House of Representatives; Parañaque City Mayor Eric L. Olivarez; Engr. Lilian Salonga, Director IV of the DTI’s Bureau of Competitive Development; Kaye Tinga, President of the Cultural Center of The Philippines; Marla D. DIGITAL TECH IN AGRI FOR PHILIPPINES AND MALAYSIA. The ASEAN Business Advisory Council–Philippines (ASEAN BAC PH) signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia last May 26, 2025. GO NEGOSYO AT SOUTHMALL. Hundreds of MSMEsfrom Las Piñas and nearby municipalities south of the National Capital Region trooped to the SM Southmall in Las Piñas City last May 10, 2025 for Go Negosyo’s 3M on Wheels. The event is part of Go Negosyo’s advocacy to promote entrepreneurship across the Philippines through free mentoring. Leading the mentoring is Go Negosyo founder Joey Concepcion, who together with the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) Las Piñas and veteran entrepreneurship mentors, volunteered to mentor the active and aspiring entrepreneurs. With Concepcion were PCCI Las Piñas Chair and President Myraflor Miranda, WomenBiz chair Rosemarie Rafael, Phil. Commission on Women’s Myrna Yao, PCCI’s George Barcelon, PCCI NCR’s Tess Ngan Tian, RL Lapid President Violy Lapid, Semiconductor and Electronics Industries President Dan Lachica, event host Mercato Centrale founder RJ Ledesma, and Karsa Café owner and content creator Gracey Celosa-Mel, who gave a talk about how entrepreneurs can use content creation for their businesses.

Go Negosyo founder and RFM Corp. Chairman, President and CEO Joey Concepcion and wife Marissa, join Ovation Productions President and CEO Renen de Guia, and VP and CFO Celinda de Guia at the sidelines of the concert by legendary American rock band Toto. The power couples rocked with thousands of fans at the SM Mall of Asia Arena last May 4, 2025 to relive the Toto songs that marked the ‘70s through the ‘90s, such as “Africa,” “Rosanna”, and “Hold the Line”. “The songs reminded us of the days when we were younger, when Renen and Cel were still building the company that would bring the biggest foreign and local artists to perform here in the Philippines,” said Concepcion. “They’ve also become great supporters of Go Negosyo and now join us when we mentor micro and small entrepreneurs at our 3M on Wheels events and our national summits for MSMEs.

First Lady Liza Araneta Marcos joins volunteer-mentors from PCCI Catbalogan and PCCI Tacloban- Leyte at Go Negosyo’s 3M on Wheels free entrepreneurship program at the Basey Municipal Hall in Basey, Samar. They mentored LAB for All beneficiaries as part of the First Lady’s LAB for All medical and social services caravan, which Go Negosyo founder Joey Concepcion praised for bringing essential services and entrepreneurship closer to the people. With the First Lady are Basey Mayor Luz Ponferrada, Samar Governor Sharee Ann Tan, and PCCI Catbalogan President Ariel Donceras. Go Negosyo brought the people of Basey, Samar closer to their dreams of entrepreneurship as it conducted its popular on-ground 3M on Wheels free entrepreneurship mentoring here last March 18, 2025. The outreach was in support of First Lady Liza Araneta Marcos’s LAB for All social and medical services caravan, which Go Negosyo founder Joey Concepcion said has greatly helped efforts to promote entrepreneurship in the country.

Go Negosyo honored the late chef and restaurateur Margarita “Gaita” Forés with a Woman of Legacy award. It was presented during the Women Summit 2025 last March 15 at the Ayala Malls Manila Bay in Parañaque City. Forés, who was recognized for her contribution to promoting entrepreneurship among Filipinas, was also one of the first to volunteer as a mentor to MSMEs when Go Negosyo was founded almost 20 years ago.
