Last Sept. 27, PLDT Bossings gathered once again to support another social development project: the Rice Bucket Challenge pioneered by Henry Lim Bon Liong of SL Agritech. Henry, who is one of the recent recipients of the Go Negosyo Most Inspiring Agripreneurs award, started this challenge in support of the farmers whose crops were devastated by the recent typhoons. Manny V. Pangilinan hosted the lunch banquet together with Eric Alberto and Kat Luna-Abelarde.

Along with the other bossings, I pledged my donations and challenged fellow entrepreneurs to donate sacks of rice for this project. This is the kind of project we all wish to support because we know that many of our fellowmen will benefit. I am glad that successful and established entrepreneurs never forget to give a part of their blessings back to communities.

Aside from the formal launch of this Rice Bucket Challenge, it was also a day to recognize the growing number of bossings. Soon, another batch of bossings will be revealed in the upcoming MVP Bossings Awards. I hope to see more bossings who will continue to promote a positive attitude towards entrepreneurship and who will support and empower small and medium enterprises.
