The ASEAN Business Advisory Council signs a memorandum of collaboration with Singapore Polytechnic to champion the online entrepreneurship mentoring program across ASEAN: At the signing are ASEAN BAC chair Dr. Robert Yap, ASEAN BAC PH chair and AMEN Legacy chair Joey Concepcion, Singapore Polytechnic principal CEO Soh Wai Wah and deputy principal Hee Joh Liang.
After the Philippine chairmanship, Singapore takes pride in hosting ASEAN this year. It has been a fruitful year for Singapore, most especially for the ASEAN Business Advisory Council headed by Dr. Robert Yap.
Just last week, we had several engagements in Singapore that strengthened the pursuit of prosperity for all even more.
First, I am proud to announce that the Philippines bagged many ASEAN Business Awards, which I mentioned to President Rodrigo Duterte. Filipino entrepreneurs and their respective companies received eight out of the 21 awards.
During the interface, I was able to advise all the ASEAN leaders that the “Prosperity for All” thrust — which was also the theme for last year’s Philippine chairmanship — is going strong, especially with the signing of the agreement between Singapore Polytechnic and the ASEAN Business Advisory Council through the ASEAN Mentorship for Entrepreneurs Network (AMEN).
The partnership will result in the first online entrepreneurship program, which will be implemented in the Philippines first through different colleges and universities. Once successful, other ASEAN countries will also implement it.
Let’s get in touch.
We’d love to hear from you.
